Lions Club of Kathmandu Unique is a non-profit, volunteer-led organization dedicated to creating a positive and lasting impact in our community. Established with the spirit of service and compassion, our club works across key areas such as health, education, environment, economic empowerment, and social welfare — improving lives and inspiring hope where it’s needed most.
As proud members of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization with over 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries, we share a common mission: to serve with kindness and make the world a better place for all. Our projects range from local eye and health camps, educational support, and food distribution to environmental clean-up drives, disaster relief, and youth skill development.

Over the years, Lions Club of Kathmandu Unique has demonstrated remarkable growth in both membership and community impact. What began as a small team of dedicated volunteers has evolved into a vibrant network of passionate individuals united by a shared commitment to service. Through continuous outreach, mentorship, and collaboration, the club has successfully nurtured a culture of leadership, inclusivity, and compassion — empowering members to take meaningful action within their communities.
Our growth extends beyond numbers; it reflects the strength of our collective vision. The club has actively supported the formation of new Lions clubs in the Kathmandu region, encouraged the establishment of Leo Clubs to engage youth in service, and worked tirelessly to revive historical clubs that once played vital roles in the Lions movement. These efforts ensure that the spirit of Lionism continues to flourish across generations, preserving its legacy while adapting to modern challenges.
Engagement has also been a cornerstone of our success. By leveraging social media, newsletters, and digital platforms, we’ve built stronger connections with members, partners, and the broader community.
